100 days of a shambolic coalition Government

  • Resignation of David Law the ex Chief Secretary over his expenses.
  • Scrapping the future Job fund helping 16 to 24 into work.
  • Axing Building schools for the future programme for 700 secondary schools.
  • Scrapping Child Trust fund, free school meals and free swimming for under 16s. also proposed axing free milk under fives.
  • Cameron outraged Pakistan by accusing the country of sponsoring terrorism. And Culture Secretary Hunt suggested there was a like between hooliganism and the Hillsborough disaster of 1989.
  • Slashing 1 billion from disability living allowance and reducing housing benefit for nearly a million households.
  • Scrapping right to see a GP within 48 hours and to be seen at A&E within four.
  • Slashing local Government grants
  • Scrapping the Local Development agents
  • Raising VAT to 20%, this hits every family with a £389 bombshell and hurts the old and the poor most.
  • Risking a double dip recession by slashing public spending while the country’s recovery is still fragile. Plans could see 600.000 public sector workers put on the dole.
